We Hope all are having a wonderful Holiday Season! We will be taking the weekends of 12/22-23 and 12/29-30 off to be with family. We will be back to the Pleasanton and Livermore Farmers' Markets the weekend of January 5-6. See you then !!

March will be truncated for us as we will be going on vacation for three weeks. Please note that we will be at the Pleasanton Market on 3/3 and 3/10 and at Livermore on 3/11 (the Livermore Market is closed on 3/4). Absolutely Sharp will be closed the weekends of 3/17-18, 3/24-25 and 3/31-4/1. St. Patrick's Day and the end of pruning season is fast approaching, so come on by to get your knives and tools the sharpest.

With the Holidays coming soon, now is a good time to sharpen your knives for the upcoming feasts! We sharpen all knives, (German, American, Japanese, serrated) while you are at the market. We also have gift certificates for those that have everything! Please note we will be closed the two holiday weekends (12/23-24 and 12/30-31), and be back January 6/7 2018. With Mother's Day this weekend and Memorial Day coming soon, now is a good time to review what needs sharpening around the house for the upcoming activities. Drop off your items at the Farmers' Markets on Saturday and Sunday to get them back into business! Now that the weather has dried out a bit, it is time to enjoy the outdoors with sharp tools! Fall is in the air! We are back and sharpening at the Sunday Livermore Farmers' Market, 9/29. On Saturday, 9/28 we will be at the Pleasanton Farmers' Market from 9-1 and also at the New Leaf Community Market Purveyors Fair from 12-4 at 3500 Bernal Ave. handing out coupons and more! We sharpen at the New Leaf Market on Monday afternoons from 12-4. Come on by all 3 Markets and sharpen things up!

The Fourth of July fireworks got the summer off to a hot start of BBQs, cooling off pool-side (or in-side w/AC) and the slicing of watermelons, tomatoes, chicken, ribs and anything else to make tasty meals without heating up the kitchen. If you’ve noticed it getting harder to slice through the above items, come on out to the Farmers’ Market and we’ll make things sharp (and right) once again.

Mother's Day (May 12) is soon approaching and what better way to show appreciation for Mom's work in the kitchen than to make food prep more enjoyable with a surprise sharpening of her favorite knife(s)? We will be sharpening at Alden Lane on May 5 as the Livermore Market will be closed due to the annual Wine Festival. Come by Pleasanton this or next Saturday to surprise Mom on her special Day!

Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away!! Make sure your knives are up to the task of 'slicing, dicing, and making julienne fries in seconds' by having them sharp as a razor. Bring them by the Pleasanton Farmers' Market on Saturday between 9 and 1 or the Livermore Market between 10 and 2 to get things scary sharp. Imagine effortlessly carving the Thanksgiving bird (real or tofu) this year!
