Anthony B. Carr is founder of Carr Wealth Management, LLC. Anthony and his family have resided in the Pleasanton community for the past twenty-three years.

Anthony’s business experience began in 1982 as an accountant for a  public accounting firm and today he operates Carr Wealth Management, LLC, an independent wealth management firm located in Pleasanton, California. Anthony’s background includes Controller/CFO experience in private industry, an extensive tax background, and thirteen years of constructing and managing investment portfolios.

The exactness and precision of traditional CPA work is far different from the uncertainty associated with investments but Anthony has been able to develop a unique advisory service focusing on rigorous academic evidence to help construct and manage investment portfolios. His tax and planning background allow him to add value to his clients  beyond traditional investment advice. Anthony has become a valuable resource for his clients who desire to have a qualified professional assist them with the many aspects of financial wealth.

Anthony became a Certified Public Accountant in 1987 and he became A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in 1998.

Anthony firmly believes that just as CFOs or controllers are responsible for safeguarding their company assets, so to should a wealth manager have the responsibility for safeguarding his or her clients’ assets.

Anthony is a member of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce and enjoys participating in the wide range of community activities offered in his area. He has coached youth sports for several years and is dedicated to bringing to the community an innovative and unique financial service.
