Dr. Bettina Zatuchni was born at a US Army camp hospital in Stuttgart, Germany while her parents were stationed there in 1961.Her interest in medicine began at an early age and culminated in a medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in 1987.
She went on to complete an internship in General Surgery at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago and her OB-GYN residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1992.
She was board certified in 1994 and completes ongoing recertification yearly. She has been working as a private practitioner since 1992.
With a son born in 2000, she understands not just the medical aspects of Obstetrics, but also the personal realities of pregnancy and childbirth.
