My Golden Retriever is a very good dog-----I am learning to be a very good handler! Jim has helped me to become a better dog owner----Reese now will jump up the back of my SUV with merely the word up! Before he made me pick him up (85pounds of fat and muscle!) After only 2 minutes! We are working on getting the Canine good citizen certificate so Reese hopefully can become a therapy dog or become involved in the Paws to Read program at the library. I would highly recommend Jim for any dog training as I observe him working with other dogs and the amazing progress he has made with them in short periods of time. Sheila B

For over 20 years I have observed Jim work wonders training people to control their dogs. Too many dogs control their owners/handlers and Jim teaches the person how to understand what it takes to in charge. He seems to be able to speak "dog". He can turn a misbehaving dog around in minutes. Give him a few hours and he can teach you to be in charge and gain confidence with your dog in any situation.

I have never seen him encounter a dog issue he can not fix or improve if the handler is willing to trust him, work on what he teaches, and be consistent in enforcing good techniques. He is not just a "dog whisperer", but a "handler whisperer" too.

Jim is an expert in the field of training dogs AND their owners. He is a dog whisperer and a very charming man as well. No wonder both canines and humans regard him respect and admiration. Jim has helped me have a greater understanding of dogs. I have a German Sheppard and a Lab. With each of them he helped with their obediance and bite work. Jim is very patient and funny. I call him the ole mighty dog whisperer.

Jim always said "You get the dog you deserve" and he was right. He knows dogs and what motivates them. He successfully trained me to understand my K9 partner and we had a long wonderful partnership. Jim then proved that any dog could be trained when he took another rescue dog and created a formidable K9 out of a small terrier dog!! Wow! Jafco Canine was amazing and proved ANY dog can be trained!!!!

After the combined efforts of myself, Jim and his training my dog aggressive male mastiff after only one training session has proved to be a different dog telling me that you can teach an old dog new tricks!! :) thanks Jim
