About Michele Matsumura

Before starting her own practice, Michele was an associate attorney with a boutique estate planning practice for a number of years and advised clients on all aspects of estate planning, including gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, charitable giving techniques, and the administration of trusts and estates.

Michele is a current member of the California State Bar (Taxation and Estate Planning Sections), Eastern Alameda County Bar Association, Alameda County Bar Association, Contra Costa Bar Association Women's Section Board Member, Diablo Valley Estate Planning Council and is Secretary to the Tri-Valley Estate Planning Council. She is also a member of Tri-Valley Rotary and a board member of the Tri-Valley Community Foundation

She graduated cum laude from University of the Pacific in Stockton, California and received her law degree from King Hall School of Law at the University of California at Davis. She also received a Masters in Taxation (for Laws) from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California.
