Super Franks Fun Adventure is the product of a friendly dare gone wild!! Let me explain...

My wife and I were driving home after a crazy and chaotic family date night at our kids (old) favorite pizza place. I was tired and actually quite grumpy from what was supposed to have been a fun family evening. I apologized to my wife for being cranky and told her that I didn't enjoy that "other place" at all, thinking she would completely understand and forgive me. Little did I know that the next words from her mouth would change the next few years of our lives.

My wife is an amazing lady and normally quite understanding, but my being cranky on family date night didn't sit well with her; she looked at me with disappointed eyes and said, "If you don't like that place, why don't you make something better?!" and then silently stared out the window. As you can imagine, her response took me a bit off guard, so I sat silently and considered my reply. After a few miles of driving and thought, I looked back at my wife and announced that not only was I going to take on her challenge, but that I was going to call my place "Super Franks," which got a big laugh out of her and a roar of approval from our sugar-high kids sitting in the back seat. And thus the Super Franks dare was on!!

The next day I jokingly related the Super Franks idea to my best friend (Beans), thinking he would laugh; instead, he got really excited about it and announced that he was in. At first, my buddy and I simply used the idea as an excuse to go to "lunch meetings" and brainstorm, but then a funny thing happened: everyone we discussed the Super Franks concept with actually thought it was a good idea and encouraged us to do it. I knew to pull something like Super Franks off we would need help, so we decided to pitch the idea to the smartest guy we knew (Sherm) and to our complete surprise, he agreed to join our little quest.

I don't want to bore you with all the details that come with starting a business in a highly competitive industry (and one in which we had no experience!). Suffice it to say, our goal from day one was to create a family entertainment restaurant that would offer great food, great service, and enjoyment for the whole family. It has been a crazy ride, for sure. Needless to say, I won the dare with my wife and now we all love our new family date night destination!

As you know, our kids grow up way too fast and before you know it, they have their own busy schedules to keep and often choose time with their friends over family. The Super Franks team is committed to provide a highly engaging family entertainment atmosphere in which to create wonderful family memories from the toddler days through the exciting pre-teen years. The learning curve for us "restaurant newbies" has been almost vertical, but thanks to our amazing staff, we are making progress each day and enjoy the opportunity to serve families like your own.
